FIFA - “All In”
“IF IT’S WORTH DOING, IT’S WORTH DOING WITH EVERYTHING YOU’VE GOT.”
Concept #1 - ALL IN.
The grit and glory of competitive battle. All the fans. All the chants. All the cheers. A global stage that welcomes all. All teams. All countries. A city united in shouting its welcome to the world.
If it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing with everything you’ve got.
Nearly four billion people tuned in to the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The world’s largest sport demands the world’s largest stage. Philadelphia is a major media market with a flair for going above and beyond to let the world in on a lesser-known secret: we are the place to be.
When the Democratic National Convention came to town, it was a citywide experience. Activations and special events took place far beyond the walls of the Wells Fargo Center. Philly-based corporate partners went all in to create immersive experiences and show off all the good our city has to offer.
Similarly, during the U.S. Papal visit, hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world flooded Philly’s major thoroughfares to bask in the excitement of the pilgrimage.
WE GO FURTHER
We stand tall with the world’s great cities. Millions of people from all over the world visit Philadelphia every year to experience our history, our sports, our food, our culture, and our energy.
We didn’t just host the NFL draft, we turned it into a city-wide block party for more than 250,000 fans backdropped by the Philadelphia Museum of Art, one of our greatest cultural landmarks.
We broadly and openly embrace all. Philadelphia has a proud history of tolerance and inclusivity. Our neighborhoods are a rich mosaic of nationalities and cultures, reflecting our heritage as a destination for immigrants.
From Fairmount to Fishtown, from Passyunk to Port Richmond, from Spruce Hill to Queen Village, we stand ready in welcome. Bring us that jawn. We’re all in.
