Mission/Vision Statement

After a successful centennial season featured much of Athena’s brand work, the NFL needed to consider the future of Huddle for 100. I developed the internal mission and values statement that would be used (without revision) by the league and shared with all of the local clubs in an effort to secure their buy-in.

Campaign Strategy/Mgmt, Copywriting (digital, print, OOH)

As COVID-19 restrictions forced many commuters to stay home, the City of Philadelphia braced for their eventual return with many new health and safety protocols. A group consisting of reps from multiple City orgs engaged Athena’s creative agency to build a campaign that would help restore peoples’ confidence in that return.

A growing jewelry brand based in New England, Loren Hope engaged Athena’s Creative Agency to redefine the way their signature series—The Butterfly Series—was seen and heard by their loyal fanbase. Driving purchase wasn’t so much the concern, as was creating an enriched experience that ultimately elevated the brand.

The City’s Convention & Visitors Bureau needed help shaping its 2026 FIFA World Cup bid. As part of Athena’s agency, I led efforts to pair the colorful, vibrant logo and visual options the team developed with compelling copy to thrill our clients and convince the FIFA selection committee that Philly is a viable host.

THE PHILADELPHIA AWARD

The Philadelphia Award is an annual celebration of City residents, rewarding educators, innovators, and others for their work in service of the community. To commemorate the 100th anniversary, our agency developed a coffee table book celebrating the first 100 recipients. Subsequent chapters were drafted by my team, so I’ve only included excerpts that I wrote.

Armed with a cool product concept and playful logo, Hämtmat needed to shore up their brand with messaging that balanced playful and extravagant. I worked closely with the company’s founder to develop language they were proud of to both describe the company’s penchant for unique everyday accessories and their passion for a world free of single-use containers.
