“We give back because we are uniquely positioned to do so—the talents we bring lend themselves to inspiring today’s youth, driving competition for the sake of progress, and shepherding the good to and for all.”
We are champions of community.
Our clubs, players, and partners embody the camaraderie of our sport and represent the countless causes, organizations, and individuals that make up the communities we stand for. We give back because we are uniquely positioned to do so—the talents we bring lend themselves to inspiring today’s youth, driving competition for the sake of progress, and shepherding the good to and for all.
Our 100th anniversary was meant to be a culmination of our collective efforts to honor those who came before us. We sought to inspire engagement from everyone—from hall of famers to draft prospects, from the front office to the fans. In our success, we realized we don’t just impact our community, we take part in shaping it. We do this year-round and hand-in-hand, with members from the community who are able to give back and, just as importantly, for those who are in need. We come together to give back and mobilize around issues that impact our community every day.
A legacy is a gift passed on from one generation, one person, or one movement to the next. It’s a characteristic or belief that when inspired triggers thoughts, memories, and feelings of another. The gift we’ve been given is the ability to be a voice for those who need one and a hand for those without. Service is our guiding light and it starts in the very communities we shape. It is our belief that every time a uniform is worn, or the hometown crowd breaks out in cheer, a sense of pride is instilled within all members of that club. The same pride that comes with a sense of responsibility. These are our towns. This is our gift. And it’s what will define our next 100 years.
