CONCEPT #2 - WE MAKE HISTORY.

The American experiment began in Philadelphia. From the pen of Thomas Jefferson, we declared our independence in principle and prose that shook the world. We demanded life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. That fighting spirit is with us still, leading us to the light of new victories.

We strive for something bigger than ourselves.

We don’t follow, we lead. Our founding fathers took the road less traveled and we take a page from their book with just about everything. After all, few can say that a nation was founded within their city limits. Even fewer can say they’re the backdrop for the world’s greatest underdog story. The Rocky statue has donned countless jerseys of champions, now he’s ready for a soccer scarf.

Take a 15-minute ride down Broad Street on a Sunday in the fall. Name another town where you can go from the world’s flagship Four Seasons Hotel to a raucous crowd of 69,000 spelling out in unison the name of their hometown team: E-A-G-L-E-S.

ONE FOR THE BOOKS

We make history and play host to it all the time. The World Meeting of Families brought the Pope here in 2015. In 2016, we hosted the Democratic National Convention. The NFL brought us the Draft in 2017. And we hosted a pretty significant Super Bowl Parade in 2018. Not to mention major recurring events such as Jay-Z’s Made in America Festival, the annual Army-Navy game, Dad Vail Regatta, and NHL’s Winter Classic series.

We’re no stranger to soccer either. The Philadelphia region hosts countless international matches in two world-class stadiums, including the CONCACAF Gold Cup, FIFA Women’s World Cup Victory Tour, Unity Cup, ICC matches, and more.

We work hard. We play hard. We make history.
